What is the Outer Rim League?
Now that the official Atomic Mass Games league kits are finally in our hands, we’re blaster-laser-focused on providing our community new, fun ways to play Star Wars Shatterpoint. To that end, we’re launching the Outer Rim League - a competitive, multi-event league where players can meet new players, visit new venues, and most importantly; earn plenty of sweet, sweet prizes.
Why’s it called the Outer Rim League? Well, what’s more Outer Rim than Australia…
For New Players
This is the best time ever to get into Star Wars Shatterpoint. We’ve just had a massive rules rebalance that’s made the game more fun and engaging than ever before, and the game is mature enough that most of your favorite characters (not you, Rey Skywalker) are in the game!
If you’ve ever been curious about the game, the Outer Rim League is a great way to get started. Not only will you meet some great folks who will be happy to teach you the game, but you’ll earn some very cool prizes and you’ll always know when that next sweet, sweet hit of Shatterpoint is coming.
For Existing Players
If you’ve been in and around the Shatterpoint community in Victoria, you probably been to a few monthlies at the Gaming Arena, or maybe the occasional Eureka Base or Andrew’s Hobbies event. For you, the league really just means two things: you’ll know the dates of upcoming events sooner, and you’ll also get some really cool official prizes for playing at the events you were probably already going to play at.
For the competitive players, this is also a shot at those sweet Top-4 rewards, and a chance to test your metal against some top-tier opponents. It’s a great way to gear up for the next GT, too…
Join the League
Entry to the league is super, super simple - simply attend any league event! After you’ve attended your first event, you’ll appear on the league leaderboard. After each subsequent event you attend, we’ll update the leaderboard with your results from Longshanks. You don’t have to do anything!

Earning League Points

Attend the Event: 3 Points
Win the Event: 2 Points
Finish in the Top 4: 1 Point
Prizes
Each time you attend a league event, you’ll earn League Points! These points go onto the leaderboard, and at the end of the league, are redeemed for prizes.
You can earn additional league points for winning certain awards at each event. These will be up to the specific TO’s, and announced at the events themselves, so keep an eye out for how to get your extra bonus points.
The players with the most league points at the end of the season will also receive special prizes based on their final placement (top 8, top 4, etc).
These prizes will be announced when we’re closer to the end of the league, but you can definitely expect the official AMG prizes from the 2025 league kit, 2025 store tournament kit (when available), and the 2025 GT kit to feature!
You’ll still earn small prizes at each event, but the bulk of the goodies will be handed out when the league finishes - so make sure to save the date! If you can’t make the final day, don’t worry - we’ll get your prizes to you.
