Shatterpoint Unleashed - alongside it's sister MCP event, Secret Wars - are being hosted by the Gaming Arena to raise money for Beyond Blue. We're excited and proud to be able to help them run this great event and raise some money for a great cause.
Mini Myths will be organizing and hosting Shatterpoint Unleashed, alongside Rusty Brattan. Rusty's a long-time member of the Shatterpoint and MCP communities, and has run Secret Wars for a number of years. We're grateful to Rusty and Gaming Arena for inviting us to contribute!
The Shatterpoint finale of the year that you won't want to miss! Shatterpoint Unleashed is here! This event is a charity event, and we'll be raising money for Beyond Blue! Have a great day of Shatterpoint and support a great cause.
We'll play 4 rounds on the day, using swiss pairings.
The final 30 minutes of each round will follow the Mission Critical rule.
For this event, we're using the official Showdown Premiere format - players will bring four separate squads, along with their preferred mission set. You can't bring multiple units who share the same Unique Name (so no Anakin and Vader), and all the usual list building restrictions apply. Each round, you'll build your strike team by selecting two squads from your roster, and then each player reveals who they've chosen to bring! It's a fun twist on the Shatterpoint format that's sure to change the way you play. You can find all the information about Showdown Premiere here.
Don't worry - if you're a new player who doesn't have the four squads required for this format, let us know! You can still participate in this event if you only have two squads available to you.
Any released Shatterpoint product is eligible to be used in this event, but you must own the official cards (no printed cards). Models may be proxied, but must be approved before the event, and should closely resemble the character they are representing on the table. If using a proxy, you are required to have the official model with you and available to play if your opponent requests you do so.
As this is a charity event, we wanted to add a special twist to your games to encourage and promote donations!

This is a friendly, casual event. The aim is to raise money and awareness for Beyond Blue, not to win games! We encourage you to embrace a casual outlook on the day and get behind these twists to create some fun - and sometimes unfair- situations for your opponent!
