It's time! A new edition is upon us, and the Skaventide is here!

Come on down to Guf and learn all about the new edition. We'll be playing the Spearhead format, so make sure you've assembled the correct models! Reasonable proxies are allowed and encouraged, but please get in touch and let us know if you are proxying before the day. There are no painting requirements for this event!

This is not a competitive event! We won't be tracking scores, or awarding prizes for placements. Instead, we're going to focus on collaboratively helping each other learn everything we can about the newest version of the game.

Order of the Day

11:00 - To make this event as beginner-friendly as possible, we'll be pairing up players to try and make sure we've got an experienced player pairing with our beginners, giving you the best possible introduction to the game. You'll have two hours to work through a basic scenario, taking your time and just trying to learn. Don't expect to finish this game - it's just a learning experience!

1:00 - We'll have a quick break for lunch!

1:30 - We'll do another round of paired matches. Once again, we'll do our best to pair up beginners with veterans so that you can learn as much as you can. This time, you might decide to introduce some additional army rules, or increase your points limits. It's totally up to you and your opponent, but we'll have some suggestions on the day if you're not sure.

3:30 - Our final round! For a bit of fun, we'll be pairing our veterans and beginners together. Beginner players can share what they've learned and attempt to execute on some tactics, and veterans can have a 'proper' match if they'd like!

Prizes

All our prizes for this event are door prizes, meaning your results don't impact what you might recieve. We'll have some fun bits and pieces to give away, including some unique gaming aids that you can use in your 4th edition games! 

You don't need a painted army to be eligible for prizes, so feel free to bring along your freshly-built, newly acquired models!
