- Each manifestation lore can only be selected once per team.

PAIRING PROCESS

- The Army Left in your hand will play against the Army that was not picked as Attacker on the table.

WHAT TO BRING
The following items are a requirement, not a suggestion: ● Your army. ● Clearly readable dice. ● A tape measure (which has inches). ● Something to track your buffs - Tokens/pad and paper. ● A way to access your rules - AoS App, battletome etc. ● A way to track the score - Game tracker, notebook etc. ● Objective markers of some kind. It is also suggested you bring the following: ● Accurate rulers/combat gauges for quick measuring. ● A trolley to carry your army on the day. ● A water bottle and snacks.
PAINTING
All armies must be fully painted, as a minimum it is expected that every model is 'battle ready' any unpainted models will be removed from the table. Below is an example of a ‘battle ready’ miniature.
MINIATURES
Models are expected to be what you see is what you get. Conversions and suitable substitutions are allowed though, so please contact the TOs for approval.
3D printed miniatures are also allowed and should:
- Be the correct volume and base size of the official GW miniature
- Be easily identifiable at a glance
- Be approved by TO (pictures must be emailed to jarrad.coots@gmail.com)
TERRAIN
Terrain layouts for each mission will be taken from the 2025/26 General’s Handbook.
ALLEGIANCE TERRAIN
Armies using special GW scenery models (e.g. Wyldwoods, Loonshrines, Feculent Gnarlmaws) must:
- Use official GW models, or
- Use a proxy with a traced footprint of the official GW model
- Receive TO approval if using non-official terrain
These pieces are part of your army and must be displayed for paint judging.
GAMING ETIQUETTE
All players are expected to conduct themselves appropriately.
At the conclusion of Round 4, players will vote for the Best Sports award based on their opponents from the weekend.
MEASUREMENT ETIQUETTE
Players must:
- Measure movement and range accurately
- Avoid loose measuring or sloppy movement
- Pre-determine ranges and play with clear intent
TOKEN ETIQUETTE
Players must:
- Accurately represent all buffs, debuffs, and wounds
- Be aware that lack of tokens may affect TO rulings
- Avoid using dice as wound tokens where possible due to risk of them being knocked or misassigned
RULES DISPUTES
Tournament Support will be available throughout the event.
Players should:
- First attempt to resolve disputes using the rulebook and FAQ
- Call a judge when needed—this is encouraged, not poor sportsmanship
- Be ready to present relevant rules to the judge
- Accept that judge rulings are final
Unresolved disputes must be brought to a TO immediately—rulings can’t usually be made after the fact due to changed game states.
CHESS CLOCKS
- Not mandatory for most players
- If one player wants to use a clock, it must be used
- Mandatory on Day 2 for any player who is undefeated after Day 1
- TO may assign a clock at any time
- Limited clocks will be available for borrowing
HOW TO USE CHESS CLOCKS
The Active Player has the clock running. The Inactive Player does not.
TIME PAUSING
- Only TOs can pause clocks
- Only for significant game issues
TIME USAGE – SETUP
- Clock starts after deployment zone roll
- Winner of the roll starts their clock
- Only the active player may deploy
- Post-deployment, the first-deploying player chooses first/second turn
- Any triggered abilities may cause a switch in active player time
TIME USAGE – DURING GAME
Time should be used only by the active player, except when:
- Inactive player looks up a rule
- Inactive player rolls dice (saves, damage, wards, etc.)
- Inactive player must move models
- Inactive player unbinds spells or prayers
- Game cannot continue until inactive player acts
- Special rules (e.g. Lumineth movement or Blood Tithe) require action in opponent’s turn
Both players are responsible for switching the clock properly.
TIME EXPIRATION
If a player runs out of time:
- They become the Inactive Player
- They may only:
- Assign wounds
- Remove models
- Perform essential interactions (e.g. saving throws)
- The active player may pause their time only during these actions
If both players run out of time, they are both considered inactive with the same exceptions.
SAFE ENVIRONMENT
The event team will maintain a safe and respectful environment for all attendees.
If you are feeling unwell on the day of the event, please stay home.
