Looking to engage our comission services? You can find all the terms of service below.
You will be provided with an initial quote after you have engaged our services, along with a Specification Document which outlines the work we will carry out, what will be provided by you and by Mini Myths, and to what level your commission will be carried out.
Once all terms have been agreed upon, you will be provided with a Commission Contract which contains your FInal Quote and the final Specification Document. By signing this document, you are agreeing to the terms as laid out in the document and in these terms of service.
The Commission Contract continues until we have completed our services, or have opted to cancel the contract.
Mini Myths offers a number of service levels (Tabletop+, Showpiece, Masterpiece) which are indicitive of the level of quality you will recieve from your commission. The particulars of these service levels that are listed on this website are meant as an indication of what you may recieve, and not a list of what you will recieve. You will be given a full explanation of the services that we will provide for your commission in your Final Quote and Specification Document. The details in the Final Quote and Specification Document overrule the general guidelines listed for each service level on this website.
We reserve the right to refuse an individual service level for any individual model if we feel the model is not sufficient for us to achieve the description of that service level.
We produce a price that is personalised based on your specific inquiry. Your quote is valid for 30 days after it is received, or until we withdraw it expressly.
We reserve the right to correct any mistakes in the quote at any time during it's 30 day validity period.
The pricing provided is based on the estimated effort for construction, cleaning, painting, and basing that we believe is required for the model to reach the level of service you have requested. The cost of materials required for these services is included in our estimate, unless expressly listed in your quote. Pricing is always on a case-by-case basis, and previous pricing is not considered when issuing a new quote.
We will adjust our quote depending on the size of the model, it's level of detail, and the specific paint scheme you have requested. This is listed in your Specification Document.
We charge an additional amount for any model that requires construction, which you will find listed in your quote document. This amount is based on the size and complexity of constructing the model, as well as any additional tools, materials, or skills required in it's construction.
You must make us aware of all models that require construction before the final quote is accepted. This includes models that are wholly or partially unassembled. If we recieve models that require construction, but were not quoted with construction costs included, we reserve the right to issue an additional payment request, or to remove the models from the commission. We will contact you before doing so. Models that are removed from the quote will be returned to the customer with the completed commission at the end of the service.
We will make an assessment on all models set to us, and deem whether they require additional construction or repair.
We reserve the right to cancel the commission if we deem the models are not in a suitable condition to complete the commission.
We accept all payments exclusively through Stripe.
If the commission requires a deposit payment, you will receive an invoice for that payment via your email address after the Commission Contract has been signed. Your deposit will be refundable if a request for the refund is made before the commission commencement date as stipulated in your Final Quote. After the commencement date, your deposit is non-refundable.
If your commission requires milestone payments, these will be listed in your Final Quote, alongside with dates for payment. You will recieve an invoice for that payment via your email address up to 14 days before the date required of the payment. We reserve the right to cease all work and/or cancel your commission if a milestone payment is not completed before the due date of that payment. Milestone payments are non-refundable.
We will request the final payment for your commission up to 14 days before it's completion, or up to 14 days before the completion date as listed in your Specification Document. We reserve the right to halt delivery of your commission, or cancel your commission, if this payment is not completed before the completion date listed in your Specification Document.
We reserve the right to issue payment extentions on a case-by-case basis. All payment extensions must be agreed to in writing, or are invalid.
You may cancel your commission with Mini Myths at any time. If you choose to cancel your commission, we reserve the right to request payment for the return of your goods.
We will include all necessary shipping charges associated with your commission in your Final Quote.
The cost of delivery includes packing material, packing labour, and the shipping costs associated with mailing your finished commission to the address specified in your quote document. If your address changes after the Commission Contract has been signed, we reserve the right to request additional shipping-related payment.
If possible, we will hand-deliver your commission to your address. If this is not possible, we will use registered Australia Post services.
We take no responsibility for any damage to your items during transit. Additionally, we are not responsible for lost parcels or failure to deliver from our mail partners.
