Melbourne’s first ever Shatterpoint official GT! After a successful year of monthly Shatterpoint events, culminating in our Shatterpoint Unleashed event at the end of last year, we're excited to announce this amazing, AMG-supported event.
As an officially supported event, we'll be following all the rules and requirements provided by AMG. The rules for Showdown Premiere can be found here. Tickets and Registration
Buy your Ticket
Tickets are sold through our host venue, The Gaming Arena. Head to their website below to purchase your ticket. Be quick - spots are limited.
Register for the Event
You must register before the 21st of June. You can do so on Longshanks, using the link below.
You must also include your Showdown Premiere list in your registration before the 21st of June.
Add it to your Calendar
If you’d like, you can use the buttons below to add it to your calendar. Handy!
Schedule
We’ve chosen a ‘4+2’ schedule, meaning you’ll play four intense games on the Saturday, and just two on the Sunday. This allows for a bit more of a relaxed second day, and gives those who are travelling a chance to take a breath and have an easier time getting home.
For those who have the time, day 2 will also be a great day to socialize a little more, get to know some of the locals, and even check out some of the other games happening at the GT.
Please note - the schedule is subject to change, both before the event and on the day. Use the below as a guide, not a gospel.

Rules
Scoring
Scoring and tiebreaking will follow the official format, which is Struggles Won, followed by Wounds Dealt, followed by Strength of Schedule.
Players are able to submit their scores themselves via Longshanks. TO’s are available to submit scores, but only if players are unable to do so.
The player submitting the game result should always do so together with their opponent.
Rules
We’ll be using the most up to date Star Wars: Shatterpoint ruleset, including the May 2025 unit updates. All games will be played in the Showdown Premiere format, as specified in the official document. This includes the Mission Critical rule.
Please note the following important rules:
You must have a physical copy (printed or official) of all your Unit, Stance, Order, and Mission cards.
Your Order cards must be official AMG mission cards.
You must have a physical printout of the most recent cards for that Unit, such as those in the 2025 Unit Update document.
You must have the official model for each of your characters. You may use a proxy in your games if that proxy is approved by a Tournament Organiser. Upon request from either the TO or your Opponent, you must remove that proxy and replace it with the official model.

Prizes
Rewards, Prizes, and Giveaways
Participation
All players will receive participation awards for each round they participate in, giving you a great incentive to play as many rounds as possible! These prizes will come directly from the AMG prize kit, so you wont be able to get the anywhere outside of an AMG Grand Tournament!
Top Placements
We’ll have prizes for all players who make it into Top 4 and Top 2, as well as prizes for the overall champion. We’ll be announcing these closer to the day.
Best Strike Force
We’ll have an independant judge on the day to give out some awards for the best painted Strike Forces on the day. Judging will happen across both days, so this is only open to players who attend both the Saturday and the Sunday.
More information on this will be available closer to the day!
Terrain Raffle
Any player who brings a full table of painted terrain will be entered into the Terrain Raffle! At the end of the event, we’ll draw names from the raffle and give out some bonus prizes to those players. We’ll announce what those prizes are on the day!
You get one raffle ticket for each full table of terrain you bring. If you are eligible to receive a raffle ticket, you will get that ticket regardless of if the terrain ends up being used on the day or not.
All terrain must be painted and designed for use with Star Wars: Shatterpoint.
You can submit your terrain using the form below.
Prize Support
Please note - we are still confirming our full suite of prizes from our various support partners. You can expect some fun surprises on the day!
AMG Prize Kit
All players will receive a prize simply for participating. This prize is granted for each round that you play, so the more games you complete, the more prizes you’ll receive.
Additional prizes are available for top-placed players, specifically including prizes for top 4, top 2, and the champion player.
Baron of Dice
We have partnered with Baron of Dice to offer some really cool unofficial dice sets available to players. We’ll announce how to win these prizes on the day!
Please note: unofficial dice are not allowed to be used during your games at this event.
Learn more about Baron of Dice below.
Battle Kiwi
We’ve secured some goodies from Battle Kiwi, including a Battle Box to give away! If you haven’t seen these, they’re a fantastic storage solution for your tools, dice, cards, and tokens. We’ll be giving away a full size battle box, and two smaller initiate boxes.

Miss out on the giveaway? Worry not, we’ve got an exclusive discount code for Battle Kiwi that will be available on the day!
Check out Battle Kiwi below:
Adrah Labs
We’ve partnered with Adrah Labs for some exclusive miniatures to give away! Since the event is called Duel of the Fates, perhaps expect a certain double-bladed villain from that fated scene…
To keep the suspense alive, we’ll reveal this exclusive miniature on the day - we’ll have 10 to give away to lucky participants!
Check out Adrah Labs below:
Logistics
Parking
While there is parking directly in front of The Gaming Arena, it fills up fast. The nearby blocks contain plenty of parking though, so you should be able to easily find an option by driving around.
That being said, we recommend car pooling as much as possible to minimize the number of cars parked in the area.
Public Transport
The closest train station is Merlynston Station, which is part of the Upfield Line. From Merlynston station, it’s about a 15 minute walk to The Gaming Arena. We’ve included walking directions from the station to GA below:

We’ve secured some discounts with nearby accomodation venues (thanks to Nick Gentile for organising this!). Use the information below to get your discount:
