Format & Rules
Schedule
This is a one-day event that takes place on May 2nd, 2026. We’ll play three rounds of Star Wars Shatterpoint, using the standard tiebreaking rules to determine our overall winner.
We’ll announce the final schedule closer to the day.
Threemiere Format
For this event, we’ll be playing THREEMIERE - a popular fan-made format that asks you to bring a total of three squads, using each one at least once throughout the day!
This format uses all the rules and regulations of a Showdown Premiere event, with the following changes:
- Your Strike Team will consist of Three Squads using the normal affiliation and list-building rules.
- Each Squad must be used in at least one of your matches during the event.
Shatterpoint Rules
We’ll be using the most up to date Star Wars: Shatterpoint ruleset, including the May 2025 unit updates. All games will be played in the Showdown Premiere format, as specified in the official document. This includes the Mission Critical rule.
Any official Shatterpoint product with a release date before the date of the event will be considered eligible to be played in the event.
Please note the following important rules:
You must have a physical copy (printed or official) of all your Unit, Stance, and Mission cards.
Your Order cards must be official AMG mission cards (not printouts). If your order deck contains foiled cards, your order deck must be sleeved.
You must have a physical printout of the most recent cards for that Unit, such as those in the 2025 Unit Update document.
You must have the official model for each of your characters. You may use a proxy in your games if that proxy is approved by a Tournament Organiser. Upon request from either the TO or your Opponent, you must remove that proxy and replace it with the official model.

Prizes
Arcpoint Champion
Finishing at the top of the table will award you the Arcpoint Champion title, along with a fantastic custom trophy worth of a true champion.
Additionally, we’ll have a suite of prizes for all our top-placed winners based on the event results.
Champion of the Republic
Arcfest celebrates sportsmanship and fun above all else.
Across the day, you’ll have the chance to submit feedback on how much fun each of your games were. At the end of the day, we’ll award special prizes to those players who’ve been voted excellent opponents who created memorable gaming experiences.
Emperor Paintpatine
Arcfest is a hobby-driven event and home to the epic ArcOpen painting competition, so we’d be remiss to not celebrate the amazing hobby efforts of our community at this event.
Criteria will be announced closer to the day, but if you’ve ever wanted to create a display board, now would be the time to do so…
We’ll crown multiple hobby winners on the day, alongside a trophy for our best-painted award; aptly named Emperor Paintpatine.
Door Prizes
Arcfest is for players of any ability, so we want to do everything we can to reward every attendee! Expect an awesome showbag of custom made doohickeys and prizes.
We’ll have more information about this closer to the day, but to give you a tease; you can certainly expect to see some new custom unit cards like those from last year’s Outer-Rim League…
Terrain Raffle
Any player who brings a full table of painted terrain will be entered into the Terrain Raffle! At the end of the event, we’ll draw names from the raffle and give out some bonus prizes to those players. We’ll announce what those prizes are on the day!
You get one raffle ticket for each full table of terrain you bring. If you are eligible to receive a raffle ticket, you will get that ticket regardless of if the terrain ends up being used on the day or not.
All terrain must be painted and designed for use with Star Wars: Shatterpoint.
