Melbourne’s only Shatterpoint official GT! We’re back for a second year to celebrate our favourite game in the galaxy!
As an officially supported event, we'll be following all the rules and requirements provided by AMG. The rules for Showdown Premiere can be found here. We'll be using Swiss rounds, with no top or bottom cut. We'll also be using any current errata, rules changes, and released characters/objective packs as of the day of the event. See all the details below!

You must register before the 20th of June. You can do so on Longshanks, using the link below.
You must also include your Showdown Premiere list in your registration before the 21st of June.
Rules
Scoring
Scoring and tiebreaking will follow the official format, which is Struggles Won, followed by Wounds Dealt, followed by Strength of Schedule.
Players are able to submit their scores themselves via Longshanks. TO’s are available to submit scores, but only if players are unable to do so.
The player submitting the game result should always do so together with their opponent.
Rules
We’ll be using the most up to date Star Wars: Shatterpoint ruleset, including the May 2025 unit updates. All games will be played in the Showdown Premiere format, as specified in the official document. This includes the Mission Critical rule.
Please note the following important rules:
You must have a physical copy (printed or official) of all your Unit, Stance, Order, and Mission cards.
Your Order cards must be official AMG mission cards.
You must have a physical printout of the most recent cards for that Unit, such as those in the 2025 Unit Update document.
You must have the official model for each of your characters. You may use a proxy in your games if that proxy is approved by a Tournament Organiser. Upon request from either the TO or your Opponent, you must remove that proxy and replace it with the official model.

Logistics
Parking
While there is parking directly in front of The Gaming Arena, it fills up fast. The nearby blocks contain plenty of parking though, so you should be able to easily find an option by driving around.
That being said, we recommend car pooling as much as possible to minimize the number of cars parked in the area.
Public Transport
The closest train station is Merlynston Station, which is part of the Upfield Line. From Merlynston station, it’s about a 15 minute walk to The Gaming Arena. We’ve included walking directions from the station to GA below:
Food Options
Catering!
We’re currently exploring catering options to provide food on the day - more info on this to come!
Group Uber-Eats Order
We’ll be doing a group Uber-Eats order of Pizza on the day. We’ll share a code with the event, and you’ll be able to add your order and pay independently. This is totally optional - but an easy way to save yourself some time and get fed! Keep an eye out for the code on the day if this is your preference.
Walking Distance
The Generator Cafe
The Generator
The generator is a cosy cafe that’s a quick two minute walk from Gaming Arena. They have a selection of pastries and treats, alongside some very delicious coffee.
Break on Bakers
Also a quick two minute walk, Bake on Bakers has a delicious array of sandwiches and wraps. This one takes a little longer, so make sure you give yourself enough time to order and eat!
Back Alley Bakes
A delicious assortment of pies and cakes - Back Alley Bakes is a local favourite. Only a minute’s walk from Gaming Arena, this is a great quick option.
Driving Distance
Just two minutes down the road is the Coburg North Village, which has a number of eateries including Pizza, Chinese, Fish and Chips, Chicken and Chips, and a Coles.
Beyond that, there’s also a McDonalds and a Hungry Jacks about 5 minutes away.
