Miss the old ways of 40K, just a little? Well Eureka Wargames is bringing back OldHammer 40K with DOWNFALL 2025. It will be 3-games of Warhammer 40000 3.5 Edition, With Attacker & Defender Missions
But what is 40K 3.5 edition?It is simply 40K using the 3rd edition rules, FAQs’ and Chapter Approved (2004) Trial Vehicle and Assault rules. ALL the 3rd codex’s and sub-lists and there are a lot of them. Also Genestealer Cults & Arbites from Citadel Journal. Sorry no experimental rules.
So come join-in the old ways, have fun and roll some dice in the days of the 25mm base, ATTACKER & DEFENDER, Force Org Chart, compulsory 1 HQ & 2 Troops, before the time of command points, OldHammer 40K 3.5.
This year DOWNFALL will be running along side 40K Kill Teams, Star Wars ShatterPoint and Battletech Alpha Strike. Entry to any event is $40 and includes a pizza lunch.

Prizes: Trophies for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, no prizes. Any prizes will be determined by numbers but at least one for Best Retro Army. Full details in player pack but consider the following.
We are not limited by space or tables, we are limited by Mats (6x4) and Terrain for them. We will have the “Bring-a-Table” Prize Raffle, entry is anyone who brings along a mat & terrain. Let us know if you intend to Bring-A-Table.
Modelling: preferred from/inspired-by RT, 2nd or 3rd style miniatures on correct 3rd Ed base size but it was over 20 years ago that 4th was released. So printed models are allowed.
Painting Requirements: There will be no painting requirements, however, Painted Models (3 Colour min.) will have the “Blood Feud” rule (like 3rd Space Wolves) with any unit that contains unpainted models. Blood Feud allows units to always hit on 3+ in Melee, Units containing unpainted models can not gain the Blood Feud rule - so get painting!
